Lesson #8

Thanks for playing with me this summer! I have truly loved getting to know you and your children better and bonding through our love of music and fun!
To help make this class even better in the future, please take a couple minutes to fill out this evaluation form. You can remain anonymous if you wish. https://forms.gle/d6mH3VcYqihEhsQaA
I would love to continue playing with you! I sent you a registration email for White Horses, our Sound Beginnings class this fall. I have classes available on Tuesdays @ 10:00am and 6:00pm, Wednesdays @ 10:00am, and Thursdays @ 9:00am. I can likely add another class if requested. It starts in August, so register now for your materials! And share this information with a friend or two! If they aren’t sure if they want to sign up yet, I will be doing a couple free preview classes to show them what it’s like – just have them contact me.
Please text and let me know what activity you plan to do the most at home even after class is over!

Giving children a chance to “perform” or speak for an audience is a great gift, even if it is a little scary for them. The more they do it, the more confident they are in themselves and their musical talent! Teaching or explaining about an instrument – how it works, what it sounds like, which family it belongs to – can also help further their understanding and love for music. We lovingly encourage and praise whatever they can do. Your children are amazing!
Optional home fun activity: Listen to your music and play any of the fun activities we've done in class. AND...when you register for Brown Teddy Bears, you can listen to that music too! (Remember, these activities are optional but can be a great bonding experience to do with your child during the week.)
Here's a video of our class story "Over in the Meadow" that you can watch with your child as you count along! Here’s another lovely story with a song about a fish in the sea: Pout Pout Fish

Sound Beginnings is education through musical play! It prepares children for success in Kindergarten and Let’s Play Music. Sound beginnings provides research-based elements that stimulate growth in the areas particularly crucial to the development of the young child. These elements make up the foundation of the Sound Beginnings curriculum.
