What is a Kindermusik PLAYDATE?

A one-day class for parents and kids on the go, the Kindermusk PLAYDATE is new to Kindermusik. See what Kindermusik is all about with no long-term committment. Join us for a fun, single session class where we will sing, experiment with instruments, move and read a story just like any other Kindermusik class! The price for your Kindermusik PLAYDATE class even includes a Kindermusik CD and a Kindermusik book.

If you are not sure if you can commit to an entire schedule, but don't want to miss out on the fun, come try a Kindermusik PLAYDATE! The PLAYDATE is a 45-50 minute music class. The cost is $15 for one child, $20 for two or more children and includes the class, a CD of songs from our class, and an illustrated book that accompanies the class. You get the same Kindermusik learning fun, and the same high-quality take-home materials (a CD and a hardcover or board book), but in a one-session class that is just that much easier to schedule, attend, and afford. Bethany's note: A full semester of Kindermusik really is the best for the child, as it allows for the process of learning through music to work it's magic week after week in the inner most places of a child, and provides ongoing support for parents in the process of learning to use music in the daily routines, and utilizing "teachable moments". A one-time event like the Kindermusik PLAYDATE can introduce the theme, the music, ideas and inspiration for parents to add music to their daily routines, as I hope it will for your family.

PLAYDATE Class Descriptions: This Little Piggy - Ages 0 to 18 months For lap babies, crawlers, and walkers, this class provides a delightful environment unlike any other. Through a unique blend of multi-level activities that include creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and a colorful literature component, This Little Piggy will stimulate your child's growth and development and engage all of their senses. Caregivers participate in the entire 45-50 minute class. Includes Board Book and CD - $15 retail value! Frog Went A-Dancing - Ages 1½ to 3½ years This class encourages children to be creative, to initiate their own ideas and to respond in their own ways, while the parents' active participation gives the toddlers the security they need. Playing instruments, singing, moving, and exploring uncover an engaging musical world while building the toddlers' confidence, self-control, and communications skills. Caregivers participate in the entire 45-50 minute class. Includes Hardcover Book and CD - $20 retail value!
